[redland-dev] MySQL connection crash bug

Hi all,

Seems these are the days of surfacing bugs...

Matt Biddulph pointed out that the MySQL storage engine crashes when the 
server isn't available (or the credentials are wrong). This is due to the 
"missing" connection being used to escape a string.

The attached patch seems to work.
