Summary: When you break the ABI in 1.0.13 you should increase
also the .so library version number
Description:
We want to install redland 1.0.13 and redland 1.0.12 along each other due to
compatibility reasons in ArchLinux.

Since 1.0.13 the ABI has changed in an incompatible way I think you should
increase the libs .so version like you do in rasqal+raptor. This would allow us
to install them both together in an easier way.

PS: Maybe you should count all 3 libs (raptor/rasqal/redland) all with the same
major version numbers because they seem to deeply depend on each other.
