[redland-dev] windows build

Hi,

I'm interested in using the raptor and redland libraries in a
cross-platform application.
I have been able to successfully build from source on Linux,
but unsuccessful in
Windows as of yet. I see the most recent binary builds for windows are
1.0.3, while
the most recent source release is more along 2.0.5. While I can use this
outdated version
in the short-term, I would very much like to use the most up-to-date builds
at some point.
So I have a couple questions hopefully someone can answer:

1. Are there any current ongoing efforts to build windows binaries for more
recent releases?

2. Is there anything other than autotools that would prohibit the sources
from building successfully
    on windows?

3. I was considering attempting to port the the autotools scripts to CMAKE
scripts.
Has anyone else done this previously that I might use their code as a
starting point?

4. Any other general warnings / tips / advice?

Thanks,
         Jonathan Bronson
