[redland-dev] Storage Creation Failed

Hello,

i am new to this list and try to use active_rdf with redland.
i am on Mac with MAX OS X 10.4.9

I have the following error:

    Storage Creation Failed.

when trying to execute :

   Redland::HashStore.new('bdb', 'redland.db', '', false)

I don't know how to solve this ?
