There have been some reported problems with 1.0.11 that I want to fix in a
1.0.12 release soon, but I want to test it out first rather than repeat this
cycle again.
Problem 1) 1.0.11 has a use of rasqal symbols in one of the header files
rdf_init.h which has caused build failures with OpenOffice.org (Oo.o) which
used librdf.h rather than the main header redland.h.
Fix: redland.h is now a wrapper for librdf.h. librdf.h includes raptor.h
and rasqal.h. rdf_init.h includes rasqal.h - just in case.
Problem 2) Fedora altered it's linking policy at the start of this year for
FC13:
http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Features/ChangeInImplicitDSOLinking
and has applied patches to redland to get things working. This was
reported in http://bugs.librdf.org/mantis/view.php?id=348 for Redland
(and elsewhere for Rasqal).
Redland FC packaging: http://pkgs.fedoraproject.org/gitweb/?p=redland.git
Fix: I've applied a version of the patch in the bug editing to make it both
raptor V1/raptor V2 compatible. I'd like somebody to test this on FC latest
(13, 14?) and maybe the next/dev release (devel, 15?).
(There are also a couple of minor changes.)
So here's a pre-release tarball (no release notes yet)
